ISO Awards Major International Awareness Video Assignment to Centigrade

(January 10, 2011) Following a competitive pitch, the Geneva (Switzerland) based International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has awarded global marketing services agency Centigrade an assignment to create a groundbreaking series of 12 videos aimed at enhancing the Organization’s international standing.

Targeting governments, business and the general public, two short videos and ten mini videos will highlight ISO’s work in developing standards and the benefits of their use in areas including food safety, security, climate change, innovation, social equity, etc.

The campaign - the first of its kind undertaken by the Organization is designed to increase the awareness of businesses and government of the benefits of International Standards to help solve the challenges they are facing, and highlight the Organization’s importance and impact to the public at large.

The first two completed videos, presented early in September to the ISO General Assembly, received a round of applause. Subsequently, many ISO members have come forward to request their availability in other languages.
